Lobi Stars aiming at league title – Idoko

Vice Chairman, Lobi Stars Football club of Makurdi, Mike Idoko has said his group will endeavor to win the Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL,) title this season . 

Talking amid a thanksgiving and devotion benefit held at Dunamis International Gospel Church in Makurdi, Benue State capital, in front of the 2016/2017 football season which starts on January 14. 

Idoko said they came back to the congregation where he committed the group a year prior to express gratitude toward God for what he accomplished for the club in the 2015/2016 season. 

In saying thanks to God for the achievement recorded last season ,the previous Warri Wolves and Sunshine director said he was gunning for the association title this season and called for supplications from the congregation. 

He told the assembly that in the last season, the group did not witness any mishap regardless of going all through the nation on air and street transport . 

He noted further that without precedent for a long time the group completed fifth on the class table saying it called for thanksgiving . 

Prior, Senior Pastor of the congregation, King Oloche Adaji implored and blessed the players amd authorities of the club asking them to do abuses in the coming season
